Tag 4 Black Forest and Beyond to Switzerland
It was a rainy morning when we departed from Baden-Baden and headed to the Black Forest. It seemed like we had the magic touch with this trip. Nearly every time we got on the bus it started to rain, but when we got off the bus the rain would stop!
We had a fabulous stop at the Black Forest Open Air Museum. Frau Schmidt was our guide and she was fabulous as she transported us to the middle of the 1500's and let us catch a glimpse of what life was like. up to the town of Murren, where we would be spending the next 3 nights at the Hotel Jungfrau. With luggage in hand we rolled along to discover the room awaiting us at our destination. We were one of the lucky ones with an incredible view of the mountains from the balcony of our room! We had a few minutes to settle in before heading down for a group dinner. Do you fondue?
